Experience:

Prior to becoming a teacher, I was employed by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice as a Probation Officer and the Dallas County Sheriff's Department as a Corrections Officer.....
 
19 years as a 4th grade Reading Language/Arts Teacher in the Dallas Independent School District
15th year 4th grade Reading /Language Arts in Lancaster ISD
 
Biography:

I have taught 4th grade Reading/Language Arts for the last 14 years in the Dallas Independent School District. I was a member of the Campus Instructional Leadership Team for 7 years, the cheerleader sponsor for 3 years, and the Lead Teacher for 7 years. While employed in the Dallas Independent School District I was a part of an Award Winning Blue Ribbon School. I am extremely passionate about what I do and want success for all of my students. I am very excited about being a part of the Lancaster Independent School District. I am looking forward to a successful school year.  
 
 
In my spare time I enjoy shopping, scrapbooking, reading and spending time with my family.
